The location is perfect, just steps from 5th Avenue and the beach. The staff were so cute, especially Angel. His really good English.

Appealing and clean hotel, the staff who served us were accommodating, and it had excellent location to the "Walmart" owned grocery store. The room of the venue was tastefully decorated and freshly cleaned with water bottles and big closet space, for example. The service was all in all excellent. Late check-out was useful. We greatly enjoyed sleeping 3 nights in this hotel.

Variety of goodies for breakfast. Beautifully decorated room and spotless with balcony. Great location for visiting bistros and coffee house.

The rollercoaster I didn't see coming

The rooms are very comfortable! The staff was helpful, offering valuable tips for enjoying the local area.

The plumbing had quirks! The shower's hot water was a bit elusive, taking time to warm up.

The local eats were fantastic! The breakfast was just a hop to some superb cafes. Housekeeping was on point, super friendly and efficient!

Cleanliness stood out in the room, indicating a well-maintained space. The location near 5th Avenue provided easy access to restaurants and shops.

Check-in was complicated, with no one present at the reception, leading to confusion and delays. Breakfast was a letdown, consisting of stale toast and minimal fruit, requiring additional payment for anything substantial. Parking was also a hassle.

A lack of check-in hours is frustrating!!! The shower water temperature was lukewarm and disappointing. WiFi signal strength was weak in many areas of the hotel!!!

Free Wi-Fi in rooms was great, but no microwave in kitchenette was disappointing.

It was just a strong match for a weekend vacation in Playa del Carmen with value for money. The staff was really helpful and even accommodated us with a late check-in without any hassle. Make sure to try the local Italian place next door for awesome coffee.

I loved unwinding in the beautiful surroundings filled with bamboo trees. The Junior Suite was cozy and spacious! I wish it had an on-site pool. I'd definitely stay here again!

i had a wonderful stay at hotel coco rio, just a short walk to mamita's beach club and the vibrant 5th avenue where plenty of restaurants awaited, making my weekend city explorations so enjoyable.

The great location near Fifth Avenue offered easy access to lively activities, yet room 21 remained surprisingly quiet for restful evenings. Decor was charming with a central patio filled with books, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The lack of a concierge was felt, and there was confusion with the shower controls due to multiple knobs without any guidance. The hospitality staff was friendly, but inconsistencies in service could be improved.

This was just a prime choice for a brief visit in Playa del Carmen with best value for money ratio. The staff were polite and accommodating throughout my stay, making everything easy. Check out nearby cafes for breakfast instead of what the hotel offers.
