The rollercoaster I didn’t see coming
The rooms are very comfortable! Moreover, the staff was incredibly helpful, offering valuable tips for enjoying the local area.
The plumbing had quirks! Also, the shower’s hot water was a bit elusive, taking time to warm up.

The local eats were fantastic! The breakfast was just a hop to some superb cafes. Housekeeping was on point, super friendly and efficient!
What I don’t like is breakfast. Eggs and toast at a different hotel were not cutting it. Paying for milk? Stick to nearby spots for a real feast.

missingWrote a review on 01 Novclean roomgreat locationcomplicated check-in
Cleanliness stood out in the room, indicating a well-maintained space. The location near 5th Avenue provided easy access to restaurants and shops.
Check-in was complicated, with no one present at the reception, leading to confusion and delays. Breakfast was a letdown, consisting of stale toast and minimal fruit, requiring additional payment for anything substantial. Parking was also a hassle. you need coins for the meter, and the noise from nearby renovations was disruptive until late at night. Additionally, no elevator made lugging bags up to the rooms a nuisance.

central location, beautiful garden, effective air conditioning
A lack of check-in hours is frustrating!!! Having no elevator can be challenging, especially with luggage. The shower water temperature was lukewarm and disappointing. WiFi signal strength was weak in many areas of the hotel!!!

missingWrote a review on 19 Maygreat locationcharming decorconfusing showerservice inconsistencylack of concierge
The great location near Fifth Avenue offered easy access to lively activities, yet room 21 remained surprisingly quiet for restful evenings. Decor was charming with a central patio filled with books, and the Wi-Fi was reliable, making it convenient for work. However, the lack of a concierge was felt, and there was confusion with the shower controls due to multiple knobs without any guidance. The hospitality staff was friendly, but inconsistencies in service could be improved.

This was just a prime choice for a brief visit in Playa del Carmen with best value for money ratio. The staff were polite and accommodating throughout my stay, making everything easy. Check out nearby cafes for breakfast instead of what the hotel offers.
